The Southeastern Oklahoma State University forensics programs warmly invite you to the Storm Classic Swing, Friday-Sunday, October 23-25, 2015. The Swing is open to all intercollegiate competitors. Both halves of the Swing will be held on Southeastern’s campus in Durant, Oklahoma. Registration will take place in the Russell Building (John Massey School of Business). Parking is conveniently located behind the Russell Building on Montgomery St. The tournament will offer NPDA and NFA-LD Debate in addition to all 11 AFA-NIET Individual Events. Dinner will be provided on Friday evening. Lunch, provided by the Magnolia Eatery, on both Saturday and Sunday will be available.
On Friday, Oct. 23rd five rounds of NPDA debate will be offered with quarters (or semis) on Friday as well. Semis (or finals) will be held on Saturday. We will follow all NPDA rules and procedures. There will be only one division offered. Wi-Fi internet access should be available throughout the building.
Saturday, Oct. 24th and Sunday, Oct. 25th will each hold a self-contained IE and NFA-LD tournament, with all 11 AFA-NIET. There will be four rounds of NFA-LD with appropriate elimination rounds and two preliminary rounds and finals of Individual Events. Again, there will be only one division offered. No prepared event may have been used in competition prior to this academic year.
