The Southwest Minnesota State University Forensics Team is pleased to invite you to the 2019 Pony Express hosted on Tuesday January 22^nd 2019 on the Southwest Minnesota State University campus in Marshall, MN. All AFA-NIET events will be offered. A student may enter no more than two events. There is no limit on the number of entries from any one school.

Time schedule for the tournament is:

3:00:    Round I

4:15:    Draw

4:30:    Round II

6:00:    Final Round

ASAP: Awards

We may condense rounds (per Section V, G of the AFA-NIET bylaws) and re-flight if the numbers warrant; participating schools will be notified of any changes before the tournament.

There will be no entry fees for the tournament. The only fee that will be assessed would be for uncovered judging slots at $5/uncovered IE slot. One judge counts for 6 IE slots. All judges are expected to be available for final rounds. Certificates will be awarded to all finalists.

Entries are due by 5 p.m., Friday, January 18th via email: benjamin.walker@smsu.edu. Teams will receive details such as parking information, event numbers, and assigned warm-up rooms the day before the tournament.
