This event is primarily an intramural UNG event where typically there are 50 or so novice teams in their first YEAR of debate (nothing in high school OR college before January 1, 2019).  It is designed for class debaters.  Those who are from other schools though are welcome.  This is a FREE tournament, consisting of training from 10-12 AM, a lunch provided, and rounds at 1, 2:45 and 4:30, followed by awards.  We will have modest awards but will have the Lamp of Knowledge sweepstakes (UNG will be divided up into three teams from the campuses to make sweepstakes a fair race), takes place on December 7.  We do ask that schools cover teams at 1 judge for every two teams or portion thereof.
