DESCRIPTION:Dear Colleague: \nThe Speech and Debate teams of the University of the Pacific and San Joaquin Delta College are pleased to invite you and your forensics squad to attend the Pacific Meets the Delta invitational forensics tournaments. The swing tournaments\, held in Stockton\, CA are comprised of the Mustang Invitational (November 1) and the Pat Kennedy Parliamentary Round Robin (Nov. 1)/Paul Winters Invitational (November 1-3). \n  \nSan Joaquin Delta College’s Mustang Invitational. Two preliminary rounds of competition in Novice and Open divisions of all eleven AFA/Phi Rho Pi individual events will be offered. Events with seven or more competitors will advance to a final round. Judging Pool will be separate with the Paul Winters Invitational. \n  \nThe University of the Pacific’s Paul Winters Invitational is a full-service tournament featuring NPDA Debate\, NFA LD Debate\, and Individual events. NPDA and IE’s run on Saturday and Sunday\, with NFA L/D happening concurrently on Friday and Saturday. Two preliminary rounds of competition in Novice and Open divisions of all eleven AFA/Phi Rho Pi individual events will be offered\, advancing to semifinals (as appropriate) or finals in each event. Five preliminary rounds of Novice\, Junior\, and Open divisions of NPDA Parliamentary Debate will advance to appropriate elimination rounds. \n  \nSPECIAL NOTE: This tournament will feature two minutes of flex time after the PMC and LOC\, as well as one minute of flex time after the MGC\, and LOR. This time may be used for prep\, CX\, drinking water\, etc. \n  \nAdditionally\, five preliminary rounds of NFA L/D Debate (advancing to appropriate elimination rounds) will be offered. \n  \nOn Friday\, November 1\,\, the University of the Pacific will also host the Pat Kennedy Tournament\, a modified Round Robin. This one-day tournament will draw many of NPDA’s best programs to compete against one another. The swing tournaments\, held in Stockton\, CA are comprised of the Mustang Invitational (November 1) and the Pat Kennedy Parliamentary Round Robin (Nov. 1)/Paul Winters Invitational (November 1-3). \n  \nSan Joaquin Delta College’s Mustang Invitational. Two preliminary rounds of competition in Novice and Open divisions of all eleven AFA/Phi Rho Pi individual events will be offered. Events with seven or more competitors will advance to a final round. Judging Pool will be separate with the Paul Winters Invitational. \n  \nThe University of the Pacific’s Paul Winters Invitational is a full-service tournament featuring NPDA Debate\, NFA LD Debate\, and Individual events. NPDA and IE’s run on Saturday and Sunday\, with NFA L/D happening concurrently on Friday and Saturday. Two preliminary rounds of competition in Novice and Open divisions of all eleven AFA/Phi Rho Pi individual events will be offered\, advancing to semifinals (as appropriate) or finals in each event. Five preliminary rounds of Novice\, Junior\, and Open divisions of NPDA Parliamentary Debate will advance to appropriate elimination rounds. \n  \nSPECIAL NOTE: This tournament will feature two minutes of flex time after the PMC and LOC\, as well as one minute of flex time after the MGC\, and LOR. This time may be used for prep\, CX\, drinking water\, etc. \n  \nAdditionally\, five preliminary rounds of NFA L/D Debate (advancing to appropriate elimination rounds) will be offered. \n  \nOn Friday\, November 1\, the University of the Pacific will also host the Pat Kennedy Tournament\, a modified Round Robin. This one-day tournament will draw many of NPDA’s best programs to compete against one another.
